Hello everyone!
I'm Jarka, I'm 35 years old and I give private lessons in English and piano. I teach adults and children. Mostly individually, but sometimes in small groups - mostly for company courses.
What I enjoy most about individual lessons is the variety I encounter on a daily basis. Every student is different, needs to focus on different language skills, likes different music, wants to learn different songs or compositions... During lessons, I do my best to meet everyone's individual needs. Happy students are my biggest motivation.
ABOUT ME
I have been playing piano since I was 5. I like Ludovico Einaudi's compositions, and melodies from movies, series, and RPG games.
During my studies, I completed a training course for future teachers in Barnstaple, UK, and started to earn extra money by teaching English individually and in groups.
I have a Master's degree in English language and Music from the Faculty of Education at Masaryk University. My level of English is between C1 and C2.
Since 2015, I have been teaching English and piano full-time as a freelance tutor. I was on maternity leave for 4 years, now I am teaching full-time again, enjoying it a lot.
